We host quarterly carers meetings to bring together those who provide care to a loved one—whether it’s a family member, friend, or neighbor. These gatherings are designed to offer a warm, welcoming space where carers can connect, share, and recharge.

Our meetings are held every three months.

- Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours

– Guest speakers on topics like mental health, benefits, or local support
– Open discussions where carers can share stories or concerns
– Tips, resources, and updates relevant to carers
– Refreshments (for in-person events) and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere
We are frequently joined by the Forward Carers Birmingham Team.
🤝 Who Can Join?
Our quarterly carers meetings are open to all unpaid carers, but to attend, you must be a patient of our surgery, even if the person you care for is not. Whether you’re new to the role or have been caring for years, we welcome all carers who are registered with our practice.

Caring for someone can be rewarding—but also challenging. You don’t have to do it alone. Our quarterly meetings offer a sense of community and support from others who truly understand.
