A small number of appointments may be booked up to two weeks in advance but most are booked the same day. Reception is open from 8.30am Monday to Friday - Telephone 0845 675 0559.

Test Results
Please telephone between 12.30 and 1.00pm Monday to Friday and speak to a practice nurse for results.

Out of Hours
Our out of hours service is provided by both Badger and Maximum Medical Recourses. When the surgery is closed, by ringing the surgery telephone number, you will automatically be transferred to the appropriate service.

Whooping cough cases increase

We have three practice nurses who perform tasks under the direction of the doctors. They also run health promotion clinics in conjunction with the doctors. Appointments with them can be made through the receptionists. Some tasks performed by the nurses (eg ear syringing) can only be done after the patient has seen the doctor and others can only be done when there is a doctor on the premises. These rules are for your safety.

Reception

All of our receptionists are trained to deal with your needs. They make appointments, take messages (including visit requests) and inform patients of test results (when the doctor has seen and approved them). Sometimes they will have to ask for details of your condition in order to assess the degree of urgency. Such information is dealt with in complete confidence. Please be patient with them, they are trying to keep everyone happy.
