Home Visits
Patients whose illness prevents them from attending the surgery may be visited at home at the discretion of the doctor. Requests for visits should be made before 10.00am if possible. This will help the doctors to plan their rounds and avoid unnecessary delay.
You will be asked to give your name, address, year of birth and brief details of your problem. It is always best to attend the surgery wherever possible.
Home Visits for Children
Home visits for children are not encouraged by the practice as children under 16 are best seen at the surgery. The practice will always try & accommodate patients under the age of 16 who need to be seen on that day.
Urgent Visits
Please tell the receptionist if you need a visit urgently. She will tell the doctor, who will probably speak to you directly to assess the degree of urgency of your call. After 6.00pm weekdays and at weekends, by telephoning the surgery you will be connected to the out of hours doctor.
